I was lucky enough to be invited into a beautiful private garden this summer. There were so many possibilities for paintings. In the end I produced 14 canvases in various sizes. I could certainly have continued.
The garden had a huge variety of planting over a series of terraces. They were linked by stairways, hidden paths and open alley ways. To add to the interest each area and terrace was themed in its type off layout and choice of trees and plants.
By the end of the summer I had a series of canvases telling a story. Many of them have gone into a private collection. But there are a few which are available to purchase. They will be showing up at my two week solo exhibition in June 2024.
